Unsound is a 2007 drama horror brickfilm by Nathan Wells. It is about a man who is subjected to auditory experiments.[1] It won first place in the fourth Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest.[2]

Plot[]

A man is being read a contract by a lawyer. He is told he will receive payment at the conclusion of the experiment, and is instructed to sign multiple times.

The man is now in a room with a one-way mirror. On the other side of the mirror, three scientists begin their experiment: bombarding the man with loud sounds and music continuously. As the hours pass and the sounds increase, the man gets increasingly annoyed, until his frustration leads to anger, and he trashes the room. Finally, the man collapses, writhing on the floor. The scientists conclude their experiment, declaring the man "mentally unsound."
