Brickfilms Wiki

The Tree is a 2015 timelapse brickfilm by Trevor Sprague. It focuses on a single tree and the life around throughout the seasons. It was an entry into the Darkness and Light Contest on Bricks in Motion, in which it won second place.[1]

A lone tree is living in a peaceful meadow, with only mountains in the distance. Soon, a house is built in the distance, with another coming shortly after. Three children then play around the tree. Soon, an entire village is constructed, and they live peacefully. A castle is constructed outside the village, with a field of wheat nearby. All is peaceful, until suddenly, an enemy attacks the village, burning it to the ground. Winter comes, leaving snow on the tree. In the spring, the three kids from the beginning (who are older), revisit the tree. Soon, a new house is built in the distance.[2]
