The Force Awakens in 30 seconds,[1] also known as The Force Awakens - LEGO Star Wars - Recap, is a 2017 brickfilm by Kevin Ulrich. It was produced for The LEGO Group via the Tongal project "LEGO Star Wars Stop-Motion In-Cinema Video Project".[2] It is a light-hearted retelling of the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, condensed to 30 seconds.[3] It was based on the submitted concept "Previously on Star Wars", which read "Like a recap seen before an episode of Game of Thrones or any other serialized adventure, this would be a stop-motion recap of The Force Awakens, with a plentiful dose of that famous LEGO snark, getting viewers all caught up for The Last Jedi.". In select theaters, it was shown before screenings of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
