Spiderman is a 2002 superhero brickfilm by Tony Mines and Tim Drage of Spite Your Face Productions.[1][2] It was created for The LEGO Group and, along with the brickfilm Scary Thriller by Mines and Drage, was featured on the LEGO Studios SoundFx CD-ROM, which was included in the LEGO sets 1376 Spider-Man Action Studio[3] and 1382 Scary Laboratory.[4] It was also available on the LEGO Studios website. The film is comprised of loosely connected shots of Spider-Man and the Green Goblin in action, and it was on the LEGO Studios SoundFx CD in two different edits. It is the earliest known Spider-Man brickfilm. The production of the film was affected by 9/11, after which Spite Your Face were not permitted to do much with the Green Goblin's bombs.[5] Spite Your Face would go on to make another Spider-Man brickfilm for LEGO, The Peril of Doc Ock, in 2004.
