Soldering Your Balls Saves Marriages is a 2006 comedy brickfilm by Tim H.. It is about television psychologist Dr. Phil premiering his new strategy for saving troubled marriages (i.e., the titular ball soldering).[1] It was created for the second Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest. It became an inside joke and cult brickfilm, with other forum members singing its praises and advertising it in signatures and avatars shortly after its release.[2][3]

Plot Edit

On the Dr. Phil show, Dr. Phil talks to a couple about their marriage problems before unveiling his bold new quick-fix: Soldering your balls! He assures the husband that soldering your balls does in fact save marriages, and proceeds to solder his balls.

One man in the audience has a rather adverse reaction to all the ball soldering, and the show cuts. An infomercial plays advertising the great success seen in saving marriages via ball soldering, urging viewers to solder their balls today.[1]
