Michael J. Green, typically known as "Cometgreen", is an American brickfilmer, best known for the 2005 brickfilm Cognizance.[1] In 2007, he was featured in a Wall Street Journal article about brickfilms.[2]

In 2007, Michael J. Green and his film Cognizance was featured in the Wall Street Journal article "In This Film Industry, It Really Helps To Be a Blockhead." In the article, which also features Joshua Leasure, Robinson Wood, David Pagano, Zach Macias, Lewis Chen, and Nathan Wells, Michael J. Green talked about the challenge of animating with a minifigure, which has limited articulation.[2]
