M-Man - Biography of a Sig Fig is a 2017 brickfilm by Nate Swihart. It recounts the story of a modified M-Tron minifigure that Swihart has owned since childhood and has since come to use as a signature figure. It was created for the Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest XIV, and won second place.
The film opens with an introduction of M-Man by Nate Swihart, explaining his childhood attraction to the figure. The narration, paired with the minifigure, goes on to show the evolution of the characters wardrobe change through the years; with various pieces, breaking, missing, or becoming outdated. Such as a chic pair of sunglasses. The story continues to tell how M-Man was always a character to look up to, an ideal hero that was created all on his own.
