LEGO Thriller is a 2013 brickfilm by Berlin-based animator Annette Jung, who, at the time, was part of the studio Talking Animals. It is a recreation of a portion of the short film music video for the Michael Jackson song "Thriller", directed by John Landis.[1] It is a non-minifig brickfilm, and was created by first digitally converting the original frames into blocks of basic colours, and then using these as templates to construct the frames with real LEGO bricks on a flat plain, photographed top-down.[2]

In the media[]

Upon release, LEGO Thriller was shared by many media websites including The Huffington Post, Yahoo! News, and Complex. It was also selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick (as was Jung's earlier Michael Jackson brickfilm created in this style, LEGO Dance, from February 2013).
