Jay Silver is a [[::Category:Canadian brickfilmers|Canadian]] stop-motion animator. He is best known in brickfilming for The Gauntlet and Rise of the Empire; two films that each greatly pushed the boundaries of their time. He is also known for Rapunzel, which spawned a parody trend in brickfilming, and for The Journey, which placed first in the Bricks in Motion Celebration Contest.[2] He has also provided voice acting for many brickfilms.
