Honk Honk! is a 2016 comedic musical brickfilm by Dustin Finstrom.[1] It is a spin-off of Finstrom's previous film, Channel 42, focusing on the character Aaron Carmichael.[2] It was created for the Sight & Sound Contest on Bricks in Motion and won third place.[3]
Plot[]
A narrator introduces Aaron Carmichael, an ex-reporter who quit his job at due to it not being his true passion. After taking a year off, he is about to return to the public eye with a stage show dedicated to what is truly important to him.
Aaron Carmichael takes to a stage. He delivers an opening speech declaring his lifelong passion for trucks. He states that he wishes to pay a tribute before bursting into a song celebrating "big honkers" (large semi-trucks), also featuring a rap break from Carmichael's ex-coworker, TeaSpoon. TeaSpoon reveals that a factor in Carmichael quitting his job was pressures from the network to tone down his flamboyant personality while reporting.[1]
