French Wines is a 2018 comedy brickfilm by Maxime Marion.[1] It is inspired by the Alsatian wine region in France, and follows a winegrower, Philippe Muchensturm, who will stop at nothing to achieve a good harvest.[2] It is the first film in a series of shorts called BRiX.

Plot[edit | edit source]

The film opens with shots of the vineyard, while Philippe Muchensturm talks about the more than ten generations of his family that have been wine growers. All the while respecting local flora and wildlife. His biggest concern is the loss of production due to weather. However, he shares that with the help of expert engineers he has been able to solve the issue with their invention, the Meteokiller 8000.

A threatening cloud then approaches the farm and the engineers use the Meteokiller 8000 to promptly destroy it. The missile then crashes into a plaza building.
