The Franky Job is a 2007 mystery brickfilm by Dave Pickett.[1][2] It is about a detective, Alexander Cluefinder, who (after drinking some Liquid Insanity) reflects on his last case and his prejudice against what he disparagingly refers to as "Frankies"; a race of half-animal half-human hybrids.[3]
It was created for the Fire Escape Films Single Script Festival, and it was influenced by the novels Gun, with Occasional Music by Jonathan Lethem[4] and Lives of the Monster Dogs by Kirsten Bakis, and the script Sorry by Tracy Mumford. It has been considered to be a cult brickfilm.[5]
