Rich Petty is a British brickfilmer known for the Jim and Bob series. He is also known for his humorous obsession with Matt Gillan's brickfilm Dino Crises[1][2] and released parodies such as Dino Crises 2: Electric Boogaloo[3] and Dino Crises: A Dancehall Classic.[4]
This gif, an excerpt from Petty's film MIJ 2.9, was long featured as "An example of a brickfilm" on Wikipedia's brickfilm page, having been added by Jeremy Wisoff in August 2007.[5] It was removed on August 28, 2022, with the stated reason being "Per Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Lego minifigures, any content featuring Lego minifigures is a derivative work of a copyrighted toy."
