Fantasma is a 2016 mystery brickfilm by Rob Bauer. It is about a hiker in the desert who has an unusual encounter.[1] It was created for the Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest XIII, in which it won second place.[2]

Plot

A hiker wanders the desert mesas. As night begins to fall, the hiker stops to rest. He starts to hear a distant mechanical noise, and a mysterious light begins to emanate towards him. The hiker walks to locate the source of the noise and light. He notices a woman staring off into the distance and taking photographs with a camera. The hiker approaches and gestures towards the woman, but she does not seem to acknowledge his presence. The hiker walks away.

Later, the hiker passes a billboard, and his attention is grabbed by a missing person poster bearing the image of the woman he had seen.[1]
