Easter at Dawn is a 2007 comedy brickfilm by Nick Maniatis about a man who misinterprets religious scripture. It was an entry into the first E.A.S.T.E.R. Festival and won first place. It was also the first animation by Maniatis in over a year.
A man holding a religious book tells his friend of this "awesome" book about Easter he has been reading. He quickly recounts the life of Jesus, mentioning that he died "somehow" and came back to life on Easter, going on to remark that it would make "the best" movie. He imagines a movie depicting Jesus rising from the grave as a zombie and seeking brains, but his friend tells him that he did not read the book carefully enough.
