Blinders is a 2014 brickfilm by Nathan Wells.[1] It follows a worker putting up a billboard, who is oblivious to what may take place in his surroundings.[2] It was an entry to the Brickfilm Rapidly All Week Long Contest 2014, in which it won first place.[3]

Plot[]

On a quiet highway, a worker raises a scissor lift up to a billboard. The worker switches on his headset to listen to the radio, and begins to methodically paste up the new billboard advertisement. As his work continues, other billboards with increasingly ominous messages are seen. In the background, flying planes are seen at first, and then smoking buildings. The radio becomes overwhelmed with static as the new billboard is revealed: a running figure, chased by a single word: RUN. An explosion whites out the screen, and a cryptic transmission is heard as the credits roll.

References to other brickfilms[]

The billboard seen in the film for a Kellego's brand Nutti-Grain bar is in reference to Wells and Zach Macias' 2006 film, Feel Great.
