Ben Young is an American brickfilmer.[1] They are known primarily for comedy brickfilms featuring madcap humor and exaggerated, cartoony animation. They have often created brickfilms for the Brickfilm Rapidly All Week Long Contest and the Twenty-four Hour Animation Contest, and placed first in BRAWL 2018 with HEADLOOSE.[2] More recently, they have transitioned to primarily shooting brickfilms using a multiplane animation rig, with films shot in this style including WHERE IS MY DOG PIKO??, HOW TO EAT YOUR GRANDPA IN 60 SECONDS, and I'LL NEVER BE LONELY AGAIN.
Young was the host of MANiFEST and its follow-up, the official Bricks in Motion summer contests for 2021 and 2022, respectively.
