Bakey a Cakey! is a 2010 comedy brickfilm by Emma Graham.[1][2] It follows a man who attempts to make a cake, and causes a complication.[3] It was created for the contest Septemberfest 2010 on Bricks in Motion, and won first place.[4] It was also on the shortlist for the cancelled 2010 Bricks in Motion Awards.[5]

Plot Edit

In a kitchen, a man sets out to bake a cake. He turns on the radio, and begins to put the ingredients into a bowl. He takes out an electric mixer, places the bowl into it, and sets it off. He turns up the speed greatly, and cake mix is sent flying all around the kitchen. Cake mix pelts the radio and causes it to malfunction, so the man picks it up. Behind him, a fire starts on the cooker. As the man runs to put it out, he throws the radio over his shoulder, and it lands in the bowl of cake mix.

Later, after the kitchen has been thoroughly cleaned, the man and a woman sit at the table. A large cake sits in the middle of the table, and the woman eats a slice of cake. She then gets up to go to the radio, but finds that it is missing. This causes the man to recall the events of earlier, and he comes to the realization that the radio went into the cake mix.[3]
