Amphibian Appendages is a 2010 slapstick comedy brickfilm by Jonni Phillips. It is about a chef preparing frog legs for a customer. It was on the shortlist for the cancelled 2010 Bricks in Motion Awards, and it was screened at the BrickFlix Film Festival in 2011.
The film was originally going to be titled Frog Legs, but when Emma Graham released a film with this title, a new title was required. Rob Bauer suggested Amphibious, Phillips expanded this to Amphibian Legs, and Harry Bossert suggested Amphibian Appendages.
In a restaurant, a customer orders the frog legs, and the waiter takes the order to the chef. The chef grabs a frog, but finds that it has no legs. Undeterred, he puts the frog in his pan, and adds a pair of human legs to compensate. He adds many more ingredients to the pan, before cooking the dish with a large machine. The waiter takes the plate of frog legs out to the customer, and the customer chows down.
